Health and Safety

At Southborough Scaffold Services we strive to create a working environment which is free from work related accidents & ill health.

As a team we achieve this by:

•   Identifying hazards within the workplace.
•   Assessing the Risk & Implement the appropriate preventitive and protective measures.
•   Establishing & Enforcing safe methods of work.
•   Provide & Maintain safe working equipment.
•   Promoting awareness of Health, Safety & good work practice through the effective communications of relevant information.
•   Making sufficient funds availiable to implement these measures.
•   Training

All of our Scaffolders are fully trained to CITB/CISRS level and regularly attend Health, Safety and Awareness courses.

We have apprentices that have / are attending the CITB construction programme (2 year course), From this they achieve various Qualifications whilst working towards their NVQ. These include: Erection of mobile towers, the use of abrasive wheels, system scaffolding, haki staircases & working at heights.
